What would you want the recipients of this scholarship to know about the person for whom it is named?
To whom much has been given, much is expected.

Tell us about your favorite Auburn story or “War Eagle!” moment.
The first game that my father took me to in 1957, not long before his death. Tickets were hard to obtain for this game. I have loved Auburn ever since and never thought about what school I would attend, always knew it was Auburn.

What do you hope your recipients gain through this scholarship?
I hope they realize that someone thought enough of Auburn to attempt to help others get an education that may have been difficult to receive if donors do not give to Auburn.
