100+ Women Strong Outreach Annual Scholarship
Must be enrolled in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, with preference given to non-resident students who demonstrate financial need. Additionally, the purpose of this scholarship is to support the University’s goal of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion among its student body, which is key to its educational mission. Each applicant’s qualifications will be considered on an individual basis. As part of this process, individual consideration will be given to the applicant’s socioeconomic background, educational background, and/or experience in or commitment to working with historically underrepresented groups or in diverse environments, so long as this consideration promotes the goal of obtaining the educational benefits of diversity. Additional consideration is given to students who are first generation college students and/or who reside in a highly rural county or underserved area as determined by the Office of Enrollment Management.
