Must be a first-year student enrolled in the College of Education with a declared major in chemistry or general science education, a resident of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, or Tennessee, and demonstrate financial need, with preference to a resident of Lee County, Alabama with a declared major in chemistry education.
