Casey Robinson Troutman Endowed Scholarship
Must be enrolled in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering with preference to students majoring in civil engineering who are residents of Limestone County, Alabama, members of the National Society of Black Engineers or Center for Inclusive Engineering Excellence and demonstrate financial need. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote the University’s goal of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion among its student body. Each applicant’s qualifications will be considered on an individual basis. As part of this process, individual consideration will be given to the applicant’s socioeconomic background, educational background, and/or experience in or commitment to working with historically underrepresented groups or in diverse environments. Additional consideration is given to students who are first generation college students and/or who reside in a highly rural county or underserved area as determined by the Office of Enrollment Management.
